Add a laptop

Hello !

I have just figured out that my daughter's laptop was not protected with my license (while I thought it was OK since 13 months ...). I would like to add her laptop to my account, but I don't how to do this since she is overseas now (I am in France, and she is in Canada for a few months). Could you explain me the procesure, as clearly as possible, so that we can upgrade her antiviral protection ?
Should I click on "activation code" or "download license" (and send her the file) ?

Have her connect her installation to your my.avast.com account.

Once she does that you should be able to assign a license to her installation. 

You could download license would be better as there is a limitation in the number of times you can use the activation code (not so with the license file), you could send her that if you have saved your copy.

Or use the - Resend avast License https://www.avast.com/resend-license-paid.php, you will need to enter the email that you used when purchasing the license, e.g. the one that the original email with the link was sent (and send her a copy of the attached license file.
