Reboot 2 or 3 times.
If that doesn't solve it, disable https scanning in the webshield and see if it solves the problem.

Tried Restarting couple times has I thought it was my internet playing up and I reset all my network  >:( Only turning off Web shield fixes it for me.. How do Avast let this type of bugs into public release is beyond me.

No need to turn off the webshield.
Disabling https scanning should be enough.

Is there any way to revert Avast internet security to the previous release status? And then update again when the bugs are fixed?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I'm patient but it sucks when you need to access lots of these websites being blocked for work purposes.
