Same here uk,  most web sites work but some don't, ebay, google etc.

Also the ui taskbar icon still does not show up so I have to click on the desktop avast icon to get I running right.

I tried to turn off all the functions of the web-screen in turn. Sites do not work until the component itself is turned off.

Same problem here. I have to disable Avast for the sites to load.

Obviously a buggy version. General troubleshooting is useless -- they need to address the SPECIFIC cause.

I hope Avast techs are working this out...
Please have a little patience ... it is worked on.

Perhaps, but it should not have happened in the first place in my opinion. People make mistakes I realise that, but people having websites blocked because of the update is not a small mistake in my opinion. Right now for me Gmail ... Yahoo and Reddit do not load at all, and Youtube does not look right at the moment. Having to disable parts of a security program to get those sites load as they should is not a good thing at all.

I'm using Internet Security, today update (Version 17.6.2310 (Build 17.6.3625.0)) ruined my morning, I can't open any domain under  yahoo, google, microsoft that I'm using everyday to work.

Please fix this Avast.

No need to turn off the webshield.
Disabling https scanning should be enough.

Thank you so much, with this trick all https website can be opened perfectly  :D

Yes that does solve it for now, ( Well partially that is. ) but we should not have to do this in my opinion.

Hello,
what version of the product do you have? It looks to be connected to the latest program update released today (now the distribution is stopped).

I'm in the same boat after updating this morning.   program version: 17.6.2310 (build 17.6.3625.0)   None of my browsers would open......Firefox, Chrome, MS Edge.

I did a System Restore to an earlier date and I'm back in business for now.  Not touching this update again until this issue is resolved.

I have just uninstalled the free avast version and reinstalled the old build which is still available from the website. I live in the UK and am not happy.
