Avast AV conflict with Comodo FW Win 10
« on: September 03, 2017, 06:16:12 AM »
I just installed Avast AV because of the high test results I keep seeing and all went well until I rebooted.

Comodo FW blocked \Program Files\Avast\AvastSVC.exe trying to connect to my Local Host (127.0.0.1) the moment my windows loaded.
Usually not a big deal I just verify the SHA, unblock it and be on my merry way but I can't seem to find the SHA anywhere online.

First thing that pops to mind is infected file, but that's impossible because this is not only a clean install of windows, it's brand new hardware so maybe the SHA isn't universal which makes absolutely no sense since its not a randomly generated file.

Avast itself runs fine so I scanned the file and no threats where found (cloud is enabled).

The only other thing that comes to mind is a conflict, if so can someone please verify so I can unblock it and/or you guys have a look at it?
I'm a new Avast user so I have no idea what it's used for but my best bet is a Shield function.

File in my Avast directory: AvastSvc.exe
Time of creation: Exactly the same as all other files (during install).
File Size: 275208 bytes
Size on disk: 278528 bytes
Certificate Signer: AVAST Software s.r.o.
SHA-1: DF1C186C3D1A45EA3E023A593B95FE141082DBA5

Allow the file, it is a legitimate file from avast.
