EQUIFAX's trustedidpremier.com blocked?!?
« on: September 12, 2017, 10:02:19 AM »
So I just tried to enroll with Trustid Premier through Equifax because my scheduled date had arrived, and avast went crazy and said I was being attacked. And avast said “Infection Detected!” “Infection Blocked” and “This site has been marked as a phishing site”. So I did a little research, saw no one else was really saying it was dangerous and tried again. Then it blocked it again and said “This site could have hurt your computer”.
Does anyone know what is going on? Do I need to whitelist it, or is there an actual problem?
Thanks,
Nels

Please (re)search before posting.
It has already been explained and fixed.

Could you please provide more information regarding a solution here? It just happened to me last night as well and not Google nor Avast forums have pulled anything up besides this thread.

You need to learn how to search.
A simple search is giving multiple relevant results.

I searched for "trustedID" in the main search window and nothing else popped up besides three results. No need to be rude. The thread you posted has no solution to the issue.

I'm not rude at all.
You clearly need to learn how to search.

You want info about the EQUIFAX hack/site and you search for something completely else.
Ofcourse you will not get relevant results.

Then attempt to be helpful instead of talking down on a new poster and telling them they need to learn how to search. As I've said in my last post, the thread you linked provided no solution. Some people are reporting the malware detection and others are saying it's not happening. There is no definite information in that thread on whether this is a false positive or not. I tried it again just now and got another malware url error.

Let me give you a clue.
It can't be a false positive if nothing is detected.

Latest avast version + latest vps = no detection
