I have been monitoring the behavior of my avast internet security and since your replied I have noticed browsing and emails are working fine and no more blockage like before.
One problem still is going one that avast is blocking my shared folder to be accessed by other computers.
Avast was installed on a desktop where I shared some folders, laptops can't access those folders unless I disabled avast.
Yes sharing and security configuration were done correctly and hence if there is no avast or disabled avast laptops can access those folders with no drama
