Hi all, while looking at my startup programs I see an s768.exe file. Googling this shows many (dubious) sites that say this is malware. Yet my Avast Premier does nothing against it. What is the truth and what should I do?

Thanks

Test the file at VT (https://www.virustotal.com) and post the link to the result here.

Did you set avast in PUP-mode as this is grayware: http://www.freefixer.com/library/file/s768.exe-258129/
Have you installed this once? http://www.shouldiremoveit.com/browser-security-179067-program.aspx

Cybersecurity is more of an attitude than anything else. Avast Evangelists.

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!
