After I did the last program and definition update, a restart was requested which I didn´t at that time, but waited until the next time I started my notebook.
Situation is now:
avast! is not starting with Windows anymore and can´t be started manually, too, neither through desktop symbol nor through Windows services. The avast!-folder in Start/Programm has only missing symbols and the program doesn´t start there, too.
The Folder where avast! is installed (d:\avast!) doesn´t work anymore. When I´m clicking on it, I get the message "there´s no access possible on d:\avast!" (don´t know if that´s the exact translation because it´s a german sentence). Deinstallation / Re-Installation don´t work, too...
What is going on with my avast?
