but for now the only option I have is to uninstall Avast and install different antivirus software!
I'm having the same issue and have reported it. do you know if there is any workaround?
See if stopping the WebShield helps. It will at least narrow things down.
It's not recommended to leave the WebShield turned off, it's your main protection while on the net.
