Anti-theft in stealth mode - can't access!
« on: September 27, 2017, 06:05:30 PM »
Hi!

On Android 6.0.1 I believe I put avast anti-theft in stealth mode (separate app from the Avast Mobile Security). The icon dissapeared from the app-tray and now I can't open it anymore. Trying to open anti-theft in the Mobile Security app I am told that Anti-Theft is now a part of Avast mobile security and that I should consider uninstalling the unsupported Anti-theft app. However my phone won't let me uninstall the app.

Now how can I disable stealth mode?

Oh, so I managed to access the Anti-theft app through the Launch function in my online Avast account. However I am not able to uninstall the app! Ideas?

I have the same problem.
Normally, the way to access it is to dial the PIN code you set in the app before going into stealth mode, however on my new device this doesn't work for some reason.
Now that the separate anti theft app doesn't get updated anymore, I'd just like to know how to wipe it from my system entirely.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
