avast free license

hi, i installed avast free for the first time today on my windows pc after installing i noticed in the settings under subscription that the license is activated by it says 292 days remaining why is it 292 days remaining i thought the free license is for 1 year/365 days seems odd that a number of 292 days comes up?

It should normally be 365, but did you have avast installed ?
If so and you still have a reasonably long period left, I believe it just leaves that.
