Boot Scan

Hello,
I've just run a 'boot scan' and was somewhat surprised by its short running time? In the past, when running this type of scan it would take a while due to it running several passes of different things it was doing.  this time all it did was scan the 'statup' and then stopped and went to my normal startup of the computer.

Has the 'newer' version of this software shortened the process of the boot scan???

OK? what is this telling me? I am sorry I don't understand what this is telling me in regards to my inquiry?

Sorry but even the General part of this Forum is still part of the Avast Support Forum.

I personally didn't find the default Boot Scan any faster than usual.
