"Thread has been removed" message popping up constantly.
« on: October 12, 2017, 11:36:07 AM »
Hi all,

I have constantly message from avast popping up (translated from french as my version is the french one), they come by 5 popping up in 2 seconds, and this a few times per day.

Is there a way to know what is connecting to what for which reason? Is there any kind of infection of my computer? Is there was to make avast not sending constantly these warnings?

Huge thanks for your help!

Pierre

Also do a forum search for CVE-2017-0144 as i think this has been posted several times with solution

I see those messages when I activate the remote / vpn connection to have the nat open. (My modem does not have the upnp function and port mapping does not work)

Install the patch (if you haven't done so already), check ALL settings in the router as has been explained in other threads/(IT)news sites etc.
