Avast crashing program
« on: October 15, 2017, 02:45:26 AM »
I decided to boot Dragon Age Inquisition back up and it crashed immediately. Looking into forums, I found Avast or AVG can cause this and the fix is to add global exclusions for the game's file path.

I added its file path to exclusions and it still crashes.  HOWEVER, if I turn off Avast or put it into Passive mode, the game launches no problem.  Even after manually adding exclusions to the File Shield, Behavior Shield, and Firewall, the game still crashes.  Because it works just fine when Avast is in Passive mode, it seems like the exclusions aren't working right on my machine.
