False Positive

Avast is deleting Cura.exe 3.0 (my 3D printer slicing program).

I get the usual report... the program was moved to the Virus Chest... I tell it to undo/restore and it does or at least it says it did but it didn't so I have to reinstall but of course it deletes it again... I tried to report the false positive but of course you can't upload the exe as it's been deleted so you can't report it either...

also note when restoring, a file copy remain in chest, just in case ....

Don't have any files in chest as I deleted whatever was there (four suspicious file), from memory the report mentioned generic something or other. If it pops up again I will record and report...

Have reinstalled the program again and no complaints from Avast, mind you the program ran several time previously before Avast complained...
The main problem was after telling Avast to reinstate the program, it reported it had but it hadn't...
