How about avast! Firewall? :D
Your anti-virus software is so good that I am sure you could even compete with Norton Internet Security package! :)

Imagine avast! Internet Security Home and Professional! :D 8)

I had the same idea...

But I hope for two different products, because it's better than an all in one product.

What about a spybot?  ;D  :-\

Hmm, while it would be undoubtly nice, this is what I think: making a quality product requires certain level of experience and expertise. Unfortunately, we don't have much experience in this field, and the firewall industry is (although related) somewhat different from AV...

That said, we're currently in the process of researching what possibilities exist in the area of partnership with real firewall vendors... :)

Cool.  8)
So you're planning to cooperate with a firewall software company? I only hope this firewall is quality product just like avast! 4 is.

At the moment I am using Sygate Firewall, it seems to be the best fw out there right now. I wish I could afford the Pro version...  :-\

For Logd -- please note that the old 'Tiny Software' is now 'Kerio Technologies', and their Kerio Personal Firewall is pretty good, indeed. See www.kerio.com (this is my reaction to our discussion here http://www.avast.com/forum/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=195;start=0).

Kerio, Tiny, whatever. :) It is pretty good. But Sygate has some features I prefer to have.
For example I simply love to see incoming and outgoing traffic meters Sygate offers in it's main window.

And Kerio interface is too complex, Sygate has much better interface.

It's the small things that makes the difference after all. ;)

Just keep doing excellent work with avast!. :)

Two other great Firewalls are the well known Zone Alarm and Agnitum Outpost Firewall.  Both are free.  I use Agnitum Outpost Firewall, most haven't heard of it, but I think it is a good one and passes the Shields Up!! test.

Shields Up tests the security of your pc's connection to the web.  https://grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2

Shields UP! and Sygate Security checks have little use for me because they can't even find my puter.  ;D One of the few positive sides in having an ISP NAT...
