cant you guys merge avast and cleanup again??what was the major reason fr them to be separated ??having two avast products on my desktop??

well the very first reason for making Cleanup a separate product was that we would like to improve its feature set which means we will need more space in the UI in the future plus we need some kind of scalability in the product itself. It would be a bit messy if we would continue doing that in the add-on of the AV as it used to be before.
But if you don't like another desktop icon to use the Cleanup here is a tip for you: You can simply delete the icon, keep just the AV there and open the Cleanup from the AV UI because there is still the Cleanup component present if you navigate into Performance -> Cleanup Premium you can open the Cleanup UI by clicking "Open Cleanup" button.
