Hi! My interface is missing or doesn't load the 'Solve' or 'Next' button that is usually present at the bottom of the page after I have completed 'Smart Scan'.. Can someone help me and advice me on what to do next to resolve this problem. I am a paid user of the license. Thank you.

Avast shuts down, won't run update, says it is unprotected.   I've installed, restarted,  updated, checked all the MS services, uninstalled, reinstalled and uninstalled again.  Time to go elsewhere.

Repair Avast:
Control Panel> Program and Features (Add/remove program)>Select Avast> Select Repair. Reboot when completed

Firefox and Thunderbird cannot access the Internet unless I turn off AVAST (new version). Chrome works OK.

You don't give much information to work on, what avast version are you using, does it have the Avast Firewall included. ?

Hi

I have the free avast antivirus which is now expired and can't make the annual register.

- If I try to the avast interface and click on the "register" green button on top, it says "Avast! Market : you need to be connected to view this content" (and I am indeed connected)
- If I choose to click on "Registration" on the left menu than "register now" button, nothing happens
- If I click on "registration form", it opens a page where I can download the new avast, with no registration needed. I download the installer, click on it and choose execute... and nothing happens (I have downloaded the file 3 times with same result)

So there is simply no way I can re-register the old avast, OR install the new avast....

Can you help ?

New version automatically installed today, bummer. Now I can't use half of my Bank of America Online Tools because I get a Threat Detected notice. Avast aborts my connection to finapp.allmyaccount.bankofamerica.com because it was infected with URL:Phishing. Never happened before. How do I fix!!!

I'm using Windows 10 and have tried access on Chrome and Explorer.

Does the "Smart Scan" look like it detected any problems?  If there is nothing detected, mine just displays a button marked "Done".  You could try repairing Avast.

Registration is supposedly no longer necessary. :) Are you running the latest version of Avast?  If so, try looking at this.  If not, try to update Avast (Settings -> Update).  Close all other programs before updating, and get ready to reboot the computer. ::)

You could try setting an exclusion.  Go to Settings -> Components -> Web Shield -> Customize -> Exclusions and add *.bankofamerica.com to the URLs.

Is anyone else experiencing a blank pop-up window from Avast when you boot-up a computer on newest client 17.8?

We have it all over our school, since the clients updated. This is Avast for Business version. I have a post over there, but no one responds: https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=211409.0

Also Noticed I now have Core Shields, and new Scan interface on 17.8.2318, thought that was coming with 17.9 release?   and Scan doesn't seem as fast as before, seems like it takes longer to scan for some reason, despite my setting are the same, no clean install for a while now
