Systimizer False Positive Detection
« on: November 10, 2017, 07:08:03 AM »
Dear Concerned,

This is Adnan Khan CEO of Developer Tribe (Pvt) Ltd.

A few days ago I have sent a request via  https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php for Systimizer false positive detection removal, but I dint get any reply.

Our software Systimizer Application executable file is detected as "Win32:Malware-gen" by Avast.

Systimizer was first time classified as Deceptor by AppEsteem on Oct 05 2017, our software was detected as a threat for the first time since its release (August 12, 2016).
Therefore many security programs were detecting Systimizer as a threat/deceptor.

The issue has now been resolved as of Fri Oct 27 2017 and Systimizer is removed from AppEsteem Deceptors list.
It can be verified on their site here https://customer.appesteem.com/deceptors (turn on "Show Resolved" option)

It is kindly requested to review Systimizer and remove its detection as a threat by Avast.

Here is the URL of new release setup(ver 1.0.0.2).

Hello,
you are using the same certificate for digital signing of the new apps as was used for the app which is mentioned on appesteem.com deceptors, so it can lead to the situation that the new apps will be detected too. I suggest to obtain new certificate for signing newly created apps and certification from AppEsteem.
