TP-Link wireless card
« on: November 24, 2017, 06:05:29 PM »
Avast AV Pro 17.8.2318 up to date.
Vista HP 32bit

I use a TP-Link TL-WDN4800 and have problems.

1. Sometimes OS displays an error message saying service stopped from loading. Actually it does load but not immediately.
2. However some times the TP-Link utility does not load at all.
3. Sometimes the utility gets closed from the sys tray.

I see that I can use 'Troubleshooting > Load Avast services after etc. Perhaps this would solve (1)
As far as points 2 & 3 go should I add TP-Link to both exclusion places.

I must say that at no time has my wireless functionality been affected.

David

Yes I did select and it has not happened again.
The utility on the other hand still behaves the same, I'm not bothered about this though.

Avast AV Pro is just fine ATM.
I do not know how the product line-up is going to go?
AV Pro seems to have gone?
What now I wonder?
