Adverts on Android Device secured with Avast Premier account
« on: November 29, 2017, 06:28:41 PM »
What is says really.

I have an Avast account with a license for Avast Premier.

If I try and register an android phone on the account it directs to me download and install Avast Mobile NOT Avast Mobile Pro.

Avast Mobile fills my phone with adverts which it informs me I have to pay extra to stop by upgrading to Avast Mobile Pro.

Having paid for the premier account do I really have to put up with adverts on my mobile device?

Tell me I'm missing something or its anew AV for me.

You paid for protection for your Windows computer.
Your android device is a different OS and a different product.

I paid extra for 3 devices, the phone is explicitly tied to this account, I can manage it's security from here. You can choose which version of Avast you want depending on the OS of the device. This is all within the management console of the account.

Recently the mobile app started pushing adverts at me. I now find to use the phone without adverts I have to pay more on top of what I'm already paying for the extras devices?

Avast can kiss my arse, I won't be renewing the licences.
