New Machine/Install of Avast - Periodically "Avast is Down"

I've just recently purchased a new machine that has Windows 10 Home, 64 bit on it. This is the first major issue I've noticed with Avast since using for a few years, but I'll get a notification every so often (multiple times a day) that "Avast is down," and that it's not running.

I restart the program or enable it from the warning message and it seems to run again for a few hours.

I have not tried un-installing and re-installing yet.

Has anyone else run into this issue?

Repair Avast:
Control Panel> Program and Features (Add/remove program)>Select Avast> Select Repair. Reboot when completed
