Avast Pro /Win7 Shutting Down
« on: December 07, 2017, 02:23:11 AM »
Uninstalled with with Avast tool and reinstalled clean - twice now. No other AV on my system, shuts down after a minute or so and gives me the UI failed to load.  Hate to get rid of a product I've liked and paid for, but I can't invest too much more time in this

Have followed all of those instructions - am still online with an unprotected workstation.  I'm afraid I have to look elsewhere

Well Avast you need to get your IT figuring this one out
I have one computer that the Avast runs fine, but the other one has had the same UI failed, have read all I can find on fixes and honestly none of the re-install or work arounds are effective
I agree with some other posters that it must not be working well with some component of Win !0
Mine has been fine on both Win 10 computers for years but the last 3 months one computer is not protected

Will be due to re-up my service in 60 days but not gonna happen unless I see some concerted effort, other than users having to go out to forums to look for fixes
How bout some free tech support for this issue Avast
