Infection Blocked multiple notifications when opening up Safari
« on: December 13, 2017, 02:48:33 AM »
Hi guys, new the the forums, for some reason, every time I open up Safari to browse the web, right away I get these "Infection Blocked" windows "URL:MAL" from mp3vampire.com.   I only went to that website once due to a friend linking me over to it.

I've cleared my Safari cookies and cache and I still keep getting these pop ups and now they are just getting annoying, any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Hi,
if it appears when you start Safari then there might be 2 options
1) htxxp://mp3vampire.com is set up as your homepage or in "opened" tabs
2) there is a plugin in Safari that tries to connect to this website that is reported as malicious by Avast, Google Chrome and even Safari itself

Quality is also a feature.

Hi Lukas,

1. I don't have a set homepage actually, it's set to blank =\
2. I just checked Safari's preferences, I don't see any options for plugins, I do see an optoin for extensions, the only think I have in extensions is Adblock Plus.

=\  Any other idea what I can do?
