Restore from Virus Chest doesn't work

I have Avast Free Virus and it won't let me restore items from the chest and I can only get to the pop up menu (sometimes) if I access the virus chest from right clicking the icon in the tray and selecting virus chest.

17.8.2318 (build 17.8.3705.249)

I need to restore some email folders that Avast found some virus' in. Hopefully, it didn't delete the emails themselves.

Folllow up to this.

it seems that longer I am in the Virus Chest, the more likely the pop up menu for other options will no longer pop, leaving me with just delete and add file.

I am running Windows 7.

Any thoughts?
