The loaner I'm using right now would need a memory upgrade only has 448 Meg
and needs at least 512.
It'll be up to my daughter to decide if she want's to go thru the added expense or just stick with
XP Pro.
(Personal observation, a memory upgrade would probably do this puter a lot of good even if she doesn't
updating to Vista)

Please note:
To un-install the program you'll have to run the setup again and select remove
I'ts not available in the add/remove section.

Hmmm, very strange indeed. It WAS listed in my Add/Remove programs section. Its' size was 11.69mb. I clicked on remove and it removed it. Going back and doing a search for it revealed just the 1kb desktop shortcut I had made. That also was able to be deleted. Don't know??  :)

I think even the Bambleweeny 57 sub-meson brain will need an upgrade to work with Vista.

Well, on my system it says I will only need some new drivers (Vista compatible) for some of my hardware like USB tablet (drawing pad), my Canon Pixma IP3000 printer, and my Lexmark scanner. I am sure some of those drivers are already available for download if not all... other than that, my desktop is ready for a "big switch". Besides, I already tested one of those Vista beta versions, and it worked fine, even all AERO bells and whistles. Of course, excluding all those little bugs that are common thing when it comes to beta releases...

Cheers !

I tried to download it but the Microsoft site says that the beta program is currently unavailable.

I finally was able to download it and my little notebook can work with any Vista features! I'm getting a new one so I am betting if this older one can do it then my new one can too.
