Removing vps_32 vpx files
« on: December 18, 2017, 05:32:58 PM »
Hello,

We have an old Windows Server 2003 server, with Avast Business Security installed on it. The server was created a long time ago, with only a 20GB C: partition set up for installed programs. There is an ongoing issue where the server is running out of space, and around 6GB of the overall space on the partition is taken up by vps_32-*random number*.vpx definition files from Avast. Are we safe to delete some or ideally, all, of these files to free up space?

Does no-one have an answer to this? From what I have seen on searching the internet, some say yes you can delete, some say you can't.
