Downloading and partially installing all these items also takes time to accomplish.
Probably also takes additional time when the system boots.

It does not say if you need to buy it and I will not click on the Install button to see if that is the case. And even if certain items can not be deselected, I still think a custom installation is always the best choice (except for users that have no idea what to choose or not choose)

If you've ever watched any of the many videos I've posted, all of them show the use of Custom Install. :)
I do that for all installs and always have Unchecky running in the background. :)

It doesn't install immediately and you can back out of it if you do start.
What you do get is a whole slew of a end user license agreement to view and agree to.

My guess when you first attempt to use it then you would get the payment page.

Today after my PC start, Avast showed me popup where he thanks me i installed Avast. I didnt installed anything, my Avast is already installed. Then another popup appeared - Upgrade your product where was no button to stay with free version. Only way disagree with upgrade was close this window by clicking X. What is this? What is wrong with this product? Why avast force me to upgrade? I dont want it.

You don't have to upgrade.
You already said NO and are staying with the free version when you closed that window.

Strange think is, where i click FREE VERSION, another popup is opened "continue upgrade". If i close this window, first poup stay, and again when i click FREE continue upgrade appeared. Only way is closing all by X.

To be sure, Repair Avast:
Control Panel> Program and Features (Add/remove program)>Select Avast> Select Repair. Reboot when completed
https://www.avast.com/faq.php?article=AVKB204

If Repair doesn't fix the problem, try the following:
Clean Install of Avast:
