Outlook2016 addin wont work with 17.9.2322

So since I updated earlier today, my Outlook2016 Addin crashes Outlook and means I have to run Outlook without AV protect !  Not Good
Tried a full repair of outlook, no fix.  tried reinstalling Avast,  no fix
when will this big bug be fixed please, or do we need move to Bitdefender :)

Yep me too. Haven't found a work around yet so had to disable this add-in until Avast fixes the problem.

I have this problem as well. Outlook will only work if the Avast add in is disabled, which is not a good option. I hope that this is resolved soon.

Thank goodness for forums like this - when it happened I thought that it was just me! There is some solace in knowing that others are experiencing the same issue.

Outlook 2010 and 2013 also auto disable the mail add-in for outlook. We updated 4 different computers, every computer now has disabled the add-in. Multi attempts to re-enable the add in in outlook caused outlook crash. I called Avast pro support, they act as if they know nothing about it, start suggesting windows restore points and other ridiculous crap.  ... Sorry, i am just ticked off that they always act like the issue is on our end, even when patently obvious the issue is with the update.

Have also had this problem since I upgraded to Premium...... was fine before.
Avast, certainly you can fix this with the release a new version.

Outlook disables the Add-in and any attempts to put it back are futile.

There is one solution for a temporary fix until Avast repairs it.

I have found the same issue.  Outlook Add-in for Avast Internet Security (Build 17.9.2322) completely fails using Outlook 2010 after upgrading
Build 17.8.2318 works correctly for Outlook 2010.   
The add-in is for black and white listing spam do not work in build 17.9.2322.   My suggestion is to turn off the automatic engine update and stay with build 17.8.2318 until this bug is fixed.  You can always update the defs just as usual.
Reverting back to build 17.8.2318 solved this issue with automatic updates disabled.

I will wait until Avast fixes this bug in their engine.
