avast checks every starting program
« on: December 23, 2017, 07:48:40 AM »
I'm teaching different courses in computer science. I write programs myself and so do my students.
I'm tired of avast checking every program i start.
Is there any way to switch off this action?

Disable CyberCapture feature which checks every unknown program on avast! servers (low reputation files, basically if you create a program it's automatically absolutely unique and new with zero reputation). Frankly, I wouldn't recommend doing that though unless you make a lot of programs regularly and it's really interfering with your work. Or just exclude the folder where you compile them to and test launch them.
