I've never had the Kerndel32.dll pop-up during an install. . Although as I was typing this, I got a Kernel32.dll error at random.. Mabe I have a virus, or something major is wrong..
I'm a little confused too, I thought you were reporting this error on install, that and the Topic Title 'Problem Installing.'
I've tried to install several times and after going through a few screens, I get the following error
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AVAST caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 016f:bff7a3d4.
Although as I was typing this, I got a Kernel32.dll error at random.. Mabe I have a virus, or something major is wrong..
From a simple google search for Kernel32.dll error, it returns thousands of hits this just happened to be the first. As I said there can be many, many reasons for a Kernel32.dll error.
http://www.5starsupport.com/info/kernel32.htmWas this exactly the same error format and content as the first you reported ?
Although a virus could be an option, I would think it unlikely but you could use an on-line scanner, pause standard shield during any scan so as not to have a conflict.
