My refund request: One month overdue.
« on: December 30, 2017, 09:07:08 PM »
I have posted on here previously about my refund. I had processed a refund request few days after payment occurred. I received an email about confirmation of my request on November 29th and was told it is being processed. Today is December 30th, a whole month later, and I still do not have my money. I was told I would have it within a week. This needs to be figured out as I have sent an email and did not receive any reply.

It would probably have been best to post this in your original topic, https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=211310.0, where the rest of the information, including your support ticket ID is.

Tickets are handled in First In First Out (FiFo), posting multiple tickets can actually delay the process as it could be pushing the date back.

Attempted multiple refund tickets due to a lack of confirmation. Was never sure if it went through. I understand that can push back the process, however they suggested it would take one week when I did get a confirmation for a refund request. If they are suggesting it takes one week, and even included that it is “often shorter” it should have been done.  If you read above it has been a month. Much longer than one week.

I was unaware it would be better to post another comment in my original post. Just figured I would make a new thread.

By posting in the other topic, not only does it keep the information together, it also has the effect of bumping it up the chronological order of topics.

My apologies. Figured a new topic would keep it at the top of the order chronologically.

Any suggestions on how to proceed in  getting my refund?
