Hi,

I also have a problem for cancelling Cleanup Premium auto renewal.
My credit card was charged on 5/27/2019  $53.61, but I did not receive email for this charge.

I sent a request to cancel my subscription to Avast customer service and got a reply saying

"Hello,
Thank you for contacting AVAST Software.
We've checked your email address and found that the auto-renewal feature for your subscription was already canceled.
Your order will expire at the end of its validation period.
If you would like to renew your subscription in the future, you can purchase a new one at https://www.avast.com .

The Avast Support Team"
(this message seems to be machine-generated, because I received exactly the same message 2 times)

However, my subscription status has not been changes (as shown on a picture).

Can you please make sure my auto renewal is stopped?

Hi Toshiyuki2,

I'm sorry for the confusion around your auto-renewal.

This license was registered to a mis-typed version of your email address, and so our systems did not identify it.

I have corrected the email address for you now and cancelled the auto-renewal for the license. I have requested an email confirming the cancellation from our distributor (Digital River), which you should receive today, and I have also resent the missing confirmation email (both to the correct email).

Thank you for putting me off the hook.
I received confirmation email from Digital River saying my auto renewal of Cleanup Premium.
Only my concern is My license on my Cleanup Premium is still showing "renewal date".  It does not say "expires"

Hi Toshiyuki2,

The changes made to the auto-renewal can take some time to propagate through our systems but I can see that this has been updated on our licensing servers now. The license should show the correct expiry information and update in your application once it synchronizes with our servers, which happens automatically every few hours (or you can force the license to update by rebooting your system and re-opening the Avast application).

Hi,

I cancelled your Avast Cleanup Trial subscription just a moment ago.
The trial period is still valid until July 14 so you can still enjoy our product until then.

I also noticed that you have activated a Trial subscription for our VPN product so if you would like to cancel it as well, let us please know.
For now I keep it active since I was not sure from your message whether you wanted to cancel both or just Cleanup.

Its so injustice for trail version avast ask me for my credit card details and once i provided without any permission from my side they have detected they full amount for avast internet security and avast primer clean up.. I all ready canceled my auto subscription know but no use they have all ready detected the full amount when i contact avast support there is no reply at all  from their side... so unfair now all ready two days passed will wait for one more day still no action .We can contact our bank and create a dispute against them...
Before i was using MC cafe it was so cheap and i can use it for my lap the PC..they never have any auto renewal like this software..
I am totally disappointed with they service and way of deducting money without any permission.
So unfair.... :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Hello! Firstly I would like to say that I am really impressed with the help displayed in this thread by Stellarman so far. Great job.
Here's my issue:

Roughly a month ago I utilised the free trial for 'Avast Cleanup' on my computer, but I now wish to cancel it. The difficulty it is that I do not know which e-mail I used (if any...) to sign up for the trial, and there is no option on the Avast Cleanup Premium application to cancel the subscription - it seems to be locked to my computer. I tried making an Avast account and linking it to my computer but even in my account, where my computer is registered as being online, etc, there is no indication that I have a subscription.

I'm just looking for a way to resolve this issue and to have my subscription removed. My apologies that I do not know which e-mail I used to sign up for the subscription - I've scoured through them but found nothing. I have the license number that is displayed on the clean up menu.

If you don't have an order # use 00000000 then explain your problem.

I got the 2 free trails and paid them through my paypal. I didn't receive any kind of confirmation or order ID. I looked this up and now I don't want to have anything to do with this. I would like to cancel everything please.

The my.avast site won't work, I can't ask for help because I don't have an order number, and I just want to prevent being charged anything.
