Avast causing freezing of phone

Hi,

Just upgraded to Avast for Android version 692-317079-c929fb2, which according to the release notes supports background scanning. But now my phone experiences microfreezes during scrolling in several applications. Did anyone else notice this?

Phone: Moto G5 w/ 3GB ram

Hi Debran, could you please try to uninstall the app for a while and observe, whether the problem ceases? Then try to re-install the app and let me know, what happens. We need to be sure it is Avast Antivirus that causes the issue. Thanks!
