Ram usage

I have a problem where avast is using up my ram. Never had this problem before. Booted up the pc today and avast suddenly had 21
background processes on at the same time. and it does not dissapear.

In short its using close to 30% of my ram

Does the issue persist after running an Avast repair and rebooting the system?

Rebooted the system to find the ram to act normal. then after some minutes it came back. so i repaired the file and rebooted again and it seems to be gone for now
