Really tired of interruptions asking to upgrade & do things that I don't need.

Popups.

Aren't these the same things as those annoyances that happen when we get infections? Isn't this product supposed to prevent that and not do it itself?

Avast devs: please remove these annoyances. If I wanted to cleanup my system, I'd do that. If I wanted to upgrade to a higher level of Avast protection, I'd do that. Constantly suggesting that I do those things, and others, makes me want to use remove the annoyances by removing your product. Is this what you want? Seems so!

Also, is anyone else tired of this happening?

Buy a paid version and turn off the notifications. I've learned to not notice the occasional popup.
If you live by the railroad tracks long enough, you hardly ever notice when a train passes by.
