Newbie question
« on: January 08, 2018, 04:58:28 PM »
Hello,
I just got a new laptop and downloaded the free avast version like I have on my desktop PC.   Questions:   I never have to renew my avast on my desktop, but this version says it expires in one month.   How to I set free avast to automatically renew?  Also, how do I get the avast icon to display in my laptop systray like it does on my desktop?   I've read the posts about these questions, but they are not clear to me on how to do it.

Thank you.

Anne Marie

So it said in the article I can 'allow it to renew' and it does then?  Also, you didn't answer how to get the avast Icon in the systray?   Anyone?

Thanks.

Repair Avast:
Control Panel> Program and Features (Add/remove program)>Select Avast> Select Repair. Reboot when completed

If Repair doesn't fix the problem, try the following:
