Chaos Intellect doesn't work

Avast seems to block my Chaos Intellect version (10.1.0.4) operations. The error message I get is "(Pop3): Error, Login failure An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.". I want to switch from Outlook 2010 to this version of Intellect, but I can get it to work. I am using to same account settings as I have been using in Outlook. So why can't I sent or receive emails?

My version of Avast Premier is 17.9.2322 (Build 17.9.3761.0). Intellect used to work, but no more. I have tried different ports with no luck. I am not sure what to do next!

What seems to be the issue here?    ???
