VPN wont connect

hi

I have a paid subscription and my vpn has been working fine up to about an hour ago.
I have no idea how to cure the issue
Any help would be appreciated. Im using Window 10

Have you tried another servers?
What is the "error message" when you try to connect?
Do you have the built in version or standalone version (of SecureLine)?

Yes I have tried other servers. none connecting.
It says secure vpn connection failed
its not possible to establish a connection.
built in version

You can contact support: https://support.avast.com/en-us/contact
They can take a few days to handle your situation. Please, do not open more than one support ticket.

Or/and you can try to repair your Avast and see if it helps.

I am also getting an error message that says "Oops! SecureLine VPN has encountered technical issues" How do I fix this?

I am getting an error box saying:
Can't open user profile directory because you lack sufficient privileges.  You might want to contact the administrator of this machine.
This box comes up whenever I try to open Avast Safezone browser since I ran a clean-up today.
