Shutting down after a scan

I have Avast Premier and I have auto shut down enabled for after scanning my hard disks. However it doesn't shut down, what can i do about this?

close the other applications that may hinder avast from shutting down the pc. If this does not fix the problem try repairing avast.

It's a known bug. Avast is working on a fix.
