VPN icon indicates opposite setting
« on: January 15, 2018, 05:28:43 PM »
Hi,

Mij issue is not really a major problem, but more a nuisance.
At start-up the Avast VPN icon in the Notification bar at the bottom shows that it's not connected, the control panel on the other hand indicates that the VPN line IS connected.
Only when I switch the VPN connection in the control panel Off and then back On, they both show the same (and hopefully correct) status.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the VPN app, but no change.

It is a little annoying, because I do not know which one to trust, so every time when I startup my laptop, I manually have to switch the VPN connection Off and back On in the Control panel.

I'm using Avast Premier in Windows 10.

Thanks.

Update: .... Now my second laptop is doing the same thing after a Windows update (January 17, 2018).

I, also have this problem.  Not something I would want to look at for much longer.  A solution would help, ASAP!  :-\
