It says I only have 29 days
« on: January 28, 2018, 01:55:07 AM »
I just installed Avast on my PC and it says I only have 29 days. Where is the option to register with email to get 365 day free? It is not there anymore.

If it is working, why worry about that    ;)

Anyway it is supposed to auto change when time is out

See this post of my avast free renewal, https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=122692.msg1444224#msg1444224.
Whilst this differs from yours in that mine is a renewal, yours too to should renew, though it may wait until the 30 days has expired.  However, it should continue protection even if expired until the UI changes to allow registration.

Did you actually read the post I gave the link to, there is nothing there saying you have to pay, Just use the Select button below the Avast Free Antivirus column in the first image.

Yes, but I have a hard time because I can't read well, so I didn't understand it. And if the read is too long winded I won't read it.

Fortunately there isn't much to read, see my attached image (there isn't much to read) when avast does auto register you will get the image asking for confirmation. 'Select your Security/Protection, there are two options the column on the left If you wish to Select (continue with) Avast Free Antivirus or the column on the right if you wish Select Avast Internet Security ( a paid version of Avast).
