OK, that shouldn't be a big problem. I recommend the following:
- get a new machine for the new AMS; if possible, give it the same name/IP as the old one, that will make things a bit easier
- install AMS software on the server (from scratch); let the mirror be created
- use the AMS Maintenance Tool to *restore* the database from your old AMS (i.e. use the last DB backup - I hope there was at least one; by default, there's a DB backup created once a week)
OR, if the hard drive is still functioning, why don't you simply try to boot from it (in another machine)?
