Is Avast Home as good as pro

 8)Hi, companios,
I am a newcomer here and I would like to know If Avast home free edition is so effective as pro is? When Avast won another International virus testing Award like Virus Bulletin. It was tested with the free edition or the Pro? Have a nice day!

That really would depend on your requirements and if there is something in the avast pro version that you specifically need (script blocker, etc.). http://www.avast.com/eng/av4_version_comp.html

The scanning engines, providers and signatures are the same so the protection levels are broadly the same.
