How to uninstall Avast Passwords for Mac
« on: February 05, 2018, 10:47:20 AM »
Hi there,  recently a pop up is appearing in the top right of my screen relating to Avast Passwords. Is says 'Click to activate Avast Passwords' and gives two options : Activate & Later. I don't want to use Avast Passwords so I don't want either option.   So if I click 'Later' the same thing happens next time I log in. The message won't go away either. I have looked into uninstalling Avast Passwords but the solutions provided on the website are incorrect for Mac. It mentions 'Settings' which is not available on the Mac version of Avast so I presume that is an Android thing.

Also I have my message settings in Avast set to appear in the bottom right of the screen and they always appear on the top right.
Any pointers to solve either of these without completely scrapping Avast and using some other less frustrating software (if it exists) would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Gareth
