Well, folks. It seems to me that I already have the latest version of Avast! Free Antivirus on my computer. I still got 29 days left until my subscription expires on March 7th this year. I’m very patient about renewing my antivirus software after my expiration expires. It means that I’ll be able to renew my expiration date for another year very soon from now on. Thanks for your support.

Oh, I found this link for the FAQ about activating Avast! Free Antivirus again. After my license that I registered from March 7th, 2017, it will expire on March 7th, 2018. After it expires, my antivirus software will automatically update the expiration date for me or manually activate my antivirus software for another year. It’s quite simple to know.

The fact remains that you have several threads open on the same topic.
One is sufficient.

  • No support PMs thanks
This is getting rather tiresome, you have been told many times how this will happen.

You have to wait for that to happen, posting every day about patiently waiting isn't going to help or change this.

the best way to find out about avast's auto license renewal is to wait until it expires and see if there is any action or not

then, please report

if avast still doesn't renew its license, we should report to the developers and "hope" they can fix it

I have seen 2 machines that didn't renew and avast automatically disabled all the shields, instead of keeping users protected

This is not a problem for us but is a huge problem for people who install avast on other machines for their friends or family because many users don't and won't be aware of their AV status

I'm thinking about installing AVG instead of avast because AVG doesn't have the licensing thingy. However, I doubt avast would eventually merge avast and AVG and import the licensing system into AVG => boom! unprotected for clueless users
