Can't Re-Pair New Device to Avast Account (Pixel 2XL)

Hiya.

So I am having issues with my avast account. I couldn't access the individual settings for my Pixel 2XL when it was paired with the account. It just kept telling me that there was no information about the device available at the time. So I removed the device and attempted to pair it again. I went through the steps on the website and even uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. I also disconnected my account from my phone and reconnected (i.e. logged out then logged back in) and still no luck.

I have the free version of Avast.

If you need any more info I will gladly be able to provide it.

Update: Alrighty it popped up now. I guess I was just a bit impatient.

But it still is showing me the message: "WE ARE SORRY, BUT DETAILED INFORMATION FOR DEVICE PIXEL 2 XL IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE."

Its been like this before for a while.

Is there a way to fix this?

Hi, try this then:

1) uninstall ALL Avast apps from your device (make sure you remove the Avast Antivirus from Device Administrators first)
2) check there is no ""Avast"" in your device Settings > Accounts
3) remove the device from the Avast My Account
4) only then install the Avast apps back and log them back in the My Account
