Hello !
I would just like to point out that in this new version 18.1.2326, on my machine, the contextual menu of the trash is an empty line (see the attached screenshot) !!
The contextual menu was displayed correctly before this update!
It's not "blocking" but for a correction of the old version, it's weird: o
Thank you
JClaude
Sorry for my english  ;)

If you have the latest avast version 18.2.2328 (build 18.2.3872.307, then I believe it should be resolved.

Nop..I still have the same problem. I have the latest Avast version. I tried to "repair" Avast from the Windows 10 menu but it is still the same. Any ideas/solutions before trying to unistall and re-install?

Thanks!

The Avast Repair is an early step, however you haven't said what avast version you are using ?
The latest avast version is 18.3.2333, if you haven't got that, that should be your first step as the versions in the topic title wouldn't be resolved by a Repair.

The avast repair in many cases this fixes minor issues, next step would be a) ensuring you have the latest avast version and b) a clean reinstall if the update didn't resolve it.
