Can't run smart scan
« on: February 15, 2018, 12:54:51 AM »
I set up a password to access smart scan and I forgot the password. I click smart scan and it asks for my password however there isn't any way to reset and I'm trying to call support and I've been holding for an hour. Can someone help please?

1. You're calling third party support.
2. It's your password. If you forgot it, Do a clean install and start all over again.
This time, remember your password. If you can't, don't set up a password. :)

Clean Install of Avast:

It's not allowing me to uninstall without the password. I tried installing again and it's telling me that it's already installed. Therefore, Avast is holding me hostage. I spoke to a IT friend and told me that AVAST doesn't have support and the site is a DUD and the AVAST was develope by a company in Germany and went out of business. What I don't understand is why would CNET have this program with no one to back it up.  I need a hacker to uninstall it now! Am super pissed off right now >:(
