Still broken today.

It's good to know that turning of the behavior shield enables IE 11 (used for testing web sites). I wonder what else is broken. I've not gone through an extensive examination of my applications.

ETA on the fix?

This and the last version also break the new Google Chat application. In particular, I cannot enable video chat when the behavior shield is running. Disabling the behavior shield during the duration of the chat allows video to be operational.

Since Google chat is being looked at as a skype replacement for work, it's important to me that this issue is resolved.

I've also had Windows Explorer crash on me twice since this update was installed.

So should I hold off on this update for now?  It seems like there are lots of problems.

Just updated here using the UI and no problems found.

And finally, the task bar icon animation has been fixed!

Problem was with IE 64bit on Win7 64 bit, and it was fixed by VPS. So please update your virus definitions, if not updated yet automatically and problem should be gone

Whilst it is good that the quick scan is back, it is far from Quick. It was sat at 0% for some time and after that progress was pretty slow.  Absolutely no comparison to the original Quick Scan, that was really 'Quick.'

Settings > Protection > Scans > Custom Scans section - Quick Scan.

Repair Avast:
1. Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs -> Avast
2. Click on 'Repair'.
3. Follow instructions.
4. Reboot.

Been on this board a lot of years and I have never seen repair work for a single issue... now is no different.  Didn't work.

Additionally this is on two computers so it's not a fluke.
